Australian Kentia Palm

Reminiscent of Howea forsteriana in its native Lord Howe Island habitat off the east coast of Australia, the Kentia palm boasts multiple slender cane-like trunks that rise in a tight cluster, each articulated with evenly spaced, pinnate fronds that splay outward in controlled arcs, creating a fine, feathery canopy. 

The foliage mass has been calibrated for interior placement with the fronds are scaled and angled to clear typical seating and circulation zones while still reading as a continuous green plane at eye level. The palms are anchored in a tall, ribbed  vessel whose narrow planform and elongated silhouette reinforce the plant’s inherent verticality, making the piece ideal for flanking entries, articulating double‑height volumes, or softening column lines.
